1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, phone), information from connected services (calendar events from iCal), and usage data (messages sent, app interactions). We never collect or store information about minors under 13.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to deliver Uplyft's core features: AI-powered message suggestions, event-triggered prompts, and delivery via push notification or SMS. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Calendar Data

When you connect an iCal calendar, we read event titles, dates, times, and locations to generate message suggestions. Calendar data is processed locally where possible and never shared with third parties.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Uplyft is designed for parents, coaches, and teachers — not for use by children under 13. We never send messages directly to minors and do not collect any data about children.

5. Data Retention

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Privacy & Security. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Terms of Service

Effective: January 1, 2026

1. Acceptance

By using Uplyft you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. Permitted Use

Uplyft is for sending encouraging messages to your kids, athletes, and students. You may not use Uplyft to send spam, harassment, or any content that violates applicable law.

3. Message Delivery

Uplyft facilitates message delivery but does not guarantee delivery. SMS delivery depends on carrier availability. Push notifications require the recipient to have the app installed and notifications enabled.

4. Subscriptions

Pro features require an active subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. All billing is handled through the App Store or Google Play.

5. Intellectual Property

Uplyft and all content within the app are owned by Uplyft Inc. You retain ownership of messages you create.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You can delete your account at any time.
